DeGroote Leadership Program in Partnership with Niagara Region

DeGroote School of Business in partnership with Niagara Region developed an exclusive and tailored six-month certificate program as a pivotal component of their People Plan for Niagara Region Leaders. The program encompassed a comprehensive selection of five curated modules, including Strategic Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Change Leadership, Strategic Thinking, and Building Effective Teams. With their knowledge acquisition obtained throughout the program coupled with skill enhancement, and personal growth, participants were able to successfully complete a Capstone Project over the course of the program. This Capstone experience was a culmination of the skills attained throughout the Leadership Program. These Capstone projects and their recommendations were presented before a distinguished panel comprising Niagara Regions Executive and Senior Leadership Team. Through their active participation in this transformative Executive Program, each leader has not only honed their leadership skills and expertise, but showcased insights that elevated their leadership acumen, amplifying their value and impact within Niagara Region’s organization.
